Can you tell me about your name 'Xiba' ?
My government name goes by Elisheba Roparashe Sikireta, so Xiba is with an X, and that’s just the difference between the shortcut (Elisheba) and the stage name Xiba.My brother actually gave me the idea ….
When you’re not doing music, what will you be doing ?
I'm am a full time musician, 24/7 , if am not in the studio singing, am sleeping.
So all the revenue of yours have to come from music ?
Yes.
How long have you worked under Samanyanga Sounds by Holy Ten ?
For a year, it was a one year contract.
How many songs did you did at Samanyanga Sounds ?
I did 4.
So you are going Solo now ?
Yes. lam now a solo artist.
So how’s it working out with you ?
So far so good. I've have a amazing team, great supporters that have got me financially, emotionally and spiritually.
Being a president for one week, what changes would you make in the Zim music industry ?
I’ll would host more shows like the Nubian Notes, so that the female artist are more seen and more heard

Do you feel like the industry is sabotaging female artist ?
It is in favor with the male artist
What made you fell in love with music ?
I was born like this. It was gift from GOD, l loved singing in high school and played marimba , sang choir......
What other carrier have you considered whilst in high school?
I once wanted to be a lawyer, The series SUITS inspired me to be a lawyer. I later discovered that there is a lot of reading in law and l don’t like reading so noo but now am studying business music technology at MSU.
How did the collabo with Saintfloew came about?
I had went for Celebrity Qns with Nash Tv, Santa was there and l was like “ I have a song l think we should do together” and he was like “okay lets get to the studio now” we started recording and finished the song that day.
How did the collabo with Killer T came about?
We were on a riddim (Symplex riddim) and when we were shooting the videos , l met him and l was like “lam such a huge fan of yours and l would like to collaborate with you” and he was like “do something, if l like it we do it” and l went to the studio (Tadex) he came and we finished the song, and that’s how BHIYA came about.
How does it feel to be number one trending on YouTube ?
I have also always wondered how it feels like, l remember when BHIYA hit number one l literally cried, called my brother and we were all screaming with my sister Inlaw. It's really an amazing feeling esp when it hit 1 million views.
Whats your favourite clothing brand ?
My designer is Lesii MuchenoAfro , he’s an amazing designer......
