He said he had finally exorcised the demons which used to stalk him and has now dumped his BAD BOY image.

The rapper has been walking in the shadows of controversy for some time now.

Some of his outrageous moments include calling Winky D a snake, claiming he only married his wife Kimberly to spite a fellow rapper and boasting that he is bigger than the NAMAs.

But, on the special occasion of his son Mukudzei’s second birthday anniversary on Tuesday, Holy Ten announced that he was now a changed man.

“Today I’ve woken up a different man,” he told his followers on X, formerly Twitter.

“Well mannered, professional, respectful and organised.

“No more teenage behaviour, no more anger issues, no more hypocrisy, no more provoking other influencers, no more recklessness.

“It’s my son’s birthday, this day marks my salvation. Happy 2nd Birthday, Mukudzei.”

Whether Holy Ten has transformed himself into a different man from who he was in the past, only time will tell.

Over the years Holy Ten has been involved in several controversies, which have played out on social media, including rows with fellow musicians, fans and others.

Earlier this year, Holy Ten hit out at the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMAS) claiming he had been intentionally snubbed despite doing better in 2024 than some of the biggest names in the country, including Jah Prayzah and Winky D.

“I did more than Jah, Winky D, Nyasha David, and that other new skinny David, and you still didn’t talk about the boy.

“NAMAS are just B*** S***. Napoleon, hamuzvigone izvi, just leave it. If it was R Peels complaining then maybe you could’ve said kurwadziwa nekusa winner.

A ROW WITH SAINTFLOEW AND VOLTZ JT

Last year, Holy Ten challenged his fellow rappers, Saintfloew and Voltz JT, to a public drugs test. He denied allegations of drug use and claimed that his peers were the drug users.

Responding to fans who had claimed that he was on drugs, Holy Ten suggested a public drugs test on Instagram.

“I can do a drugs test right now on IG live and prove to you something. But I’m only going do it if Voltz and Saint also take the test with me,” he said.

Holy Ten accused his peers of taking drugs in a follow-up video. He claimed Voltz JT took codeine in his presence.

His public spat with fellow artists last year led to a “Cancel Holy Ten” campaign.

He lost over 10,000 followers on social media.

The highlight of his social media stunts was when he claimed that he was no longer in love with his wife Kimberly Richards and only married her to spite his bitter rival rapper Voltz JT

“With Kimberly, it was just to spite Voltz. That’s just the honest truth. I can’t lie. My guys are here and they’ll tell you the truth… I fell in love along the way. I am Holy Ten and I will always tell you the truth,” he said.

DISS TRACK AGAINST BABY MAMA

In 2023, Holy Ten released a song dissing his baby mama, Tariro Chelsea, which sparked outrage on social media. Many called him out for disrespecting the mother of his child, with some accusing him of seeking clout.

In the song, he seemingly insinuated that Chelsea intentionally trapped him with a child.

“I got people who look at me differently now cause it looks like I hit it and I chickened out. I just thought it was missionary but, obviously, you are on a mission now, Wakauya wega ukabvisa blouse . . . ”

In April 2025, Holy Ten claimed that he received threats from Prophet Uebert Angel and his followers, which he shared on social media. He later apologised.

TAKING AIM AT WINKY D

In a heated social media rant, Holy Ten threatened to “end” the career of Winky D. The provocation stemmed from a row during a show celebrating the singer’s 20-year milestone in the music industry.

During an online television interview, the singer revealed that he had sent a direct message to Winky D, declaring he was going “to end his career”.

The rapper also labelled Winky D a “snake”, accusing him of deception and manipulation. This revelation was particularly surprising given Holy Ten’s previous acknowledgment of the chanter as his mentor.
